Say we are a cult. Do you really want us on your bad side? Did you think about this when starting this thread? Do you have stairs in your house? Ever plan on eating at a Krystal? Do you have trees in your yard?

I am not saying we are a cult, but if we were, these are questions that you should have considered.

Auburn has us trumped in the cult area by a factor of 3.

I see no way this ends well. Bring in the family. Bring in the pets. Cover the flowers and shrubs. Hope the best for your tree's. I would recommend not eating salad's for the foreseeable future auburnphan23. God bless.

All SEC fan-bases are exemplars of tribalism.

No fan base in the United States is more willing to kill another person over a football game than the Alabama fan base.

Raiders and Niners fans laugh at this.

The Auburn fanbase is the one always talking about "God things" and "the Family." Pretty cultish to me.

Sports fans are a cultish bunch, as anyone who has ever met a Cubs, Packers, Red Sox, or Bears fan knows. Duke fans worship K., Paterno-worship was as bad as it gets, UK fans think Rupp walked on water to reach the whites-only drinking fountain, and even Auburn fans are already showing a cult-like mentality about their new coach now that they don't have trees to worship anymore.

A lot of people talk about God. I have even heard stories of Mark Richt reading bible verses to recruits. A lot of fan bases also refer to their fan bases as a family or a nation.

However, Alabama fans are the only people who engage in the cultish actions I described in the original post, and I didn't even cover all of the cultish actions engaged in by the Alabama fan base. There have been more than a few times I have been driving down some road in Alabama and saw a "S the Coach" bumper sticker stuck on some 1970's model pick up truck

A bumper sticker dedicated to worshipping your midget coach as a deity. The same way a lot of cults worship their leaders. Saban or almost any successful coach is put on a pedestal above the actual football program by members of the Alabama cult

Sounds like someone is "All In"

Kool-Aid is to be served at the Terrell Dining Hall. Be sure to wear your track suit.
