Did alright on Saturday

Sure he did because he was playing with a fat-arse lead.

Missouri never put Mason in a spot where he was the focal point. Their defensive game plan was working early - they all but shut Chubb down - but Mauk kept fricking it up on offense.

Georgia won, yes, but beating this Mizzou team should have no bearing on a discussion of beating the West champion. We are literally the worst offense in SEC right now, bar none. Put Mason down 14-0 and let's see what he and Bobo do.

I think the West winner easily will outclass anyone from the East, likely by putting them in a hole early.

We are really overreacting to the Missouri game. Mauk gift wrapped 3 of those 4 turnovers, I'm still not sold on the secondary. The bright spot was Langley playing so well after not playing defense for so long. He may be a big boost in the long run, but as of now I wouldn't feel to confident with our defense slowing down any of the west opponents.

What excuses have I made? I only spoke the truth.

- Missouri was shutting Georgia's ground game down early (and most of the game actually).
- Mason looked decent playing with a lead. Let's see how he looks trailing 14-0.
- Mauk can't hit the broad side of a barn right now. Couldn't even put a fricking bubble screen on target.

Honest observations is not excuse making.

The tears tasted great in COMO over the weekend. UGA ran the ball at will in the second half and the fighting Michael Sams quit. Mizzou lacks heart and depth.

Are you suggesting SC and MSU are one of the same? Seriously?

The second game of the year Mississippi St beat UAB by 13 points, 47-34

The second game of the year UGA lost to South Carolina 35-38(2 missed field goals and a missed call, 50 yard TD run called back). Things have changed. We are heading into week 8

Of course, the West champ still has to beat the East champ. Won't be as easy as you west fans think.

lulz. We held you to a season low in yards per carry - and that was padded in the 4th quarter.

And name any team that has the defensive "depth" to hold up under a more than 2-to-1 time of possession.

Face it, Missouri gave you a gift. Enjoy it. The West won't be so generous.

It's not really a shock that you held us to our lowest ypc on the road with 3 of our top 4 RBs out. There were some gifts, but we're easily the better team.

With MSU's front 7, and Dak playing well, that's going to be a load for anyone to contend with.

I agree with you, but this is a discussion on Georgia's chances against the West, isn't it?

Any Dawgs using the our game to bolster their argument is a damned fool. Mauk completely gifted it.

The South Carolina game is a much closer benchmark as to where you're at, IMO.

A game on the road from 6 weeks ago when USCe had their backs against wall is a better indicator of where we are today when analyzing our ability to compete against the SEC West winner in December if we make the SECCG?
