Anything can happen in one game. Particularly in what amounts to a home game for them.

The question is if they have two losses and win the SECCG would they go over a 1 loss team from the West?

I guess they probably would though their resume wouldn't come close to comparing just because the East is so terrible.

I think that the Georgia-Arkansas game this weekend will be the best indicator of how good Georgia actually is.

Boom - you are correct, sir! If UGA fans are honest with themselves, none of us really thought UGA would 1) put together a complete game in which 2) the defense performs well on all levels 3) let alone blow out any SEC on the road. Oh - and I cringe to add "without Todd Gurley" because that was added everytime anything happened on Saturday ("I went out to eat .... without Todd Gurley.")

So - can we do it again? We'll see...

Gurley doesn't deserve to be allowed back, imo. Rules are rules.

On one hand, I feel pesimistic about UGA's chances. We usually shat the bed a couple of times. Sometimes we escape with a win / sometimes not.

But, we haven't had all our top players on offense yet. I doubt we will for the ARK game either for whatever that is worth.

I'm optimistic that when we get our top 2 WR back fully (MM and JSW seemed to be limited in their plays) and Sony Michel back, that we'll be more of a threat.

The West has not lost a single game to any team not in the west. A UGA victory over Mizzou does not change my perspective on UGA.

We already saw the effect of having a healthy WR core Saturday. But we didn't have to pass, our Defense completely dominated the game from start to finish and Chubb wore down Mizzou. If our D plays like that, we're gonna have a game in Atlanta, I don't care who's there.

but Maty Mauk's and the rest of Mizzou's attempted porn staches were adorable.

But nobody in the West has a good passing game, so it evens out.

Georgia should just be glad they are in the east. Probably be the 4th or 5th best team in the west. With the exception of LSU and maybe atm, I am not sure Georgia could beat a single western division team on the road. I know they could not beat either the Mississippi schools or the Alabama schools on the road

We play Arky this week so we'll put your theory to rest.

Try not to get out of the division race by the time we play you alright? I want the win to be extra satisfying.

How do you know this?

Has Georgia actually played any SEC west teams on the road yet?

I'm not all that impressed with the SEC west. I think they are overrated.

Alabama's having a down year which is allowing the usually doormat Mississippi schools to challenge for the division.

I got to see them play some this weekend on tv and was not overly impressed. MSU was sloppy; Ole Miss is still a team Georgia could schedule for homecoming.

Haha, you're a fool.

UGA could certainly pose a thread in the SECCG. If Auburn can win the west, I don't want to play UGA.

Part of that is that it's often a home atmosphere for AU in that game, and it would clearly not be against UGA.

They are. Bama, LSU, and Auburn are vastly overrated. The best 2 schools are located in Mississippi for crying out loud.

Clemson is probably the best team Georgia has played so far and they are not worth a shite. Of course, Clemson is not an eastern division team anyway. Kind of shows just how awesome the east is this year.

Ok...your team got bent over by the only decent team you have played this year.
