Its not really an issue of leftover tickets. Schools get a surprisingly small allotment of tickets. Tons go to corporate sponsors in Atlanta or people that are grandfathered in to getting tickets every year. That's usually where Georgia gets a crowd advantage there.

Yeah but the State people would pay high premium and the people with the lifetime ticket deal would get a big return selling to state alums

I hope we get to see. Are enough people going to spend several grand in tickets and a hotel/flight to Atlanta when they expect to be traveling across the country in the playoffs? Especially on a 1 week notice assuming the Egg Bowl decides the west.

Also by that time, UGA would have theoretically had the East locked up for a few weeks

We have the 2nd ranked rush defense in the SEC, Arky's QB is medicore at best. Even with no Gurley, Georgia's run game is dangerous. Mason actually played fine vs Mizzou. 22/28 with a passing and rushing TD.

Georgia's defense dominated as Mizzou never converted a third down, was only on Georgia's side 4 times, had 147 yards in the entire game.

Not saying Arky can't win but this preconceived notion that they'll win just because they're in the West is laughable.

Bert will not have a shirt on. And it will be slightly cold. Nippy.

So you're done. The pressure will be too much.

They have the number #1 rushing offense but you do have the #2 rush defense in the SEC, right about that. You shut down the running attacks of Clemson, Troy, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Missouri... wait a minute...

I tease. Stats can kind of go out at the window sometimes, I've seen #1 this vs #12 that and it completely go opposite and vice versa. May not happen here, maybe Georgia rolls.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Arkansas won because of the x factors. So much so I think they might. They're a decent team in a nearly impossible division.

And Bert. Fat.

Anything can happen in a single game. If the West Champion comes out and turns the ball over 5 times or something they'll lose.

I think that the Georgia-Arkansas game this weekend will be the best indicator of how good Georgia actually is.

I don't think any SEC game shows how good or bad anybody is.

Lol no They won't even make the SECCG. They're awful

Yea, man. We suck. 5-1 ranked 10th in the country. I'll put you on suicide watch when auburn won't be able to beat this terrible team come mid November.

Ark running offense > Georgia's rushing offense
Ark rushing Defense > Georgia's rushing Defense

I think whichever team makes it through the West is FAR talented enough to survive UG.

That being said of course the winner of the East COULD upset in the Champ Game

The thing is Bert's teams are outplaying teams. They just need to learn how to close games out.

If we make it to the SECCG that probably means AU isn't there. We would be facing a mediocre Bama team (by Bama standards) or a Mississippi school that combine for 0/170 scholarship players that have ever been to Atlanta. Yeah, I would say we would pose a threat.

I understand everyone thinks the West is so much better.
But Why?

There at no big wins.
LSU took over the Wisky game once they lost their best 2 def lineman and Gordon.
Bama reall struggled and are just not bama this year,( they just aren't)
KSU made so many mistakes , auburn should have won by 3 TDs. That didn't happen.

Arkansas is better , whith out a doubt , and where as OM and State are really good , they are no where close to what bama was in 2012.
Bama and Am got the crap scared out of them by Arky, doesn't mean Arky is good. Bama played the worst game I've ever seen , mental mistakes everywhere and still won. If Arky was as great as you want tho think. They should have rolled.

At this time the west has played UF twice, USC once, and Vany once. How do you determine dominance by those games. Am & USC was an enigma.

UGA is improving on Def. The are clearly better today than last year. Ark is not showing up on Saturday with Peyton Manning, they will run it in to teeth of the best front 7 in the conference.

And Vegas has UGA as a road favorite without Gurley, if he plays is there anyone who doesn't think that pissed of Man won't go for 300?
