I can't see Arkansas winning @ Tuscaloosa.

Assuming such they'd need to win out in the SEC besides that AND have Alabama lose 2 games.

Tall order.

Nobody cared about beating them at the end of last year. That will not happen this year since they are so much of the talk now.

No SEC West team will be taken for granted. Some East teams are being talked up as well, so there shouldn't be any surprise teams that really present a real threat.

That's the worst excuse ever. If I were a LSU fan and believed that, I'd probably kill myself.

Let us just cut to the chase here shall we?

I can sum up your arguments. "Arkansas sucks even if they slapped us around like a cheap crack whore/we needed a minor miracle to beat them."

We don't win the West this year because the schedule is a nightmare and Bama/Auburn should win the West. There you have it. Print the T-shirts and enjoy.

Christ most of you sound like fans from the Big 12. It is damned depressing.

as long as Brandon Allen is healthy and no one on the offense misses any significant time i honestly don't see how we don't win the west. we lost the bama game, the a and m game, the mizzou game, the miss state game and the georgia game because we had no depth. this is the first year we have a real bench (at least everywhere except lb's if our lb's are hurt we're done)

Apparently, he didn't even look at his own link.

The funny thing about that link is that it goes on to talk about the 1976 Cotton Bowl game, where Arkansas beat Georgia, calling it "one of the more memorable games in Cotton Bowl history". Georgia was supposedly a huge favorite, but lost 31-10. I don't ever hear Arkansas fans talking about that game, so it couldn't have been that big of a deal. That was about the same time I began following Arkansas and I can't say that I even remember anything about that game. I guess I just expected to win.

In contrast, Georgia fans apparently have a name for it, calling it the "Shoestring Game", because Ray Goff fumbled inside Georgia's own 20, allowing Arkansas to come from behind a 10-3 deficit, to win 31-10.

You could look at facts , Allen was the 6th best QB in the west last year and one player he maybe able to pass is the new starter at Ole Miss , the rushing attach is all hype and is average against conference defenses.
