I hope we see very little of that douche Danny Kannell.
This. I can't stand this guy and idk why. He just bugs the frick out of me. SVP and rusillo troll him sometimes and it's really funny.

I don't think Tebow and Spears, and Hartung are going to be on SEC NOW after this opening /introduction. They will all be doing SEC nation on Gameday, but that is a rather unsettling thought as well.

I still haven't gotten over McElroy saying mratin rooge.

They need to work on the on-air talent. I am going to like the game day stuff because I won't have to wade through all of the other BS that I don't really care about. Talk about what's going on in the SEC. Frack errbody else. I am also going to like watching the replays of the games during the week. And again, listening to the gum bumpers talk about only the SEC.

They need more professionals, fewer former players.

Well I'm glad we have your critique. I was waiting to form my opinion based on what you thought.

Home run day one. Will be tough to be consistent.

I think everyone was super nervous.

We need a daily "Merlins wired" segment.
The new analysts need some work, but they all have potential.

I am interested to see how much of homers the former players will be. I wouldn't mind some heated arguments during the season to add to the fun. After all, one of the great things about college sports is the rivalries, and you can't really capture that well if the players are being overly PC.
Greg was pretty good, but he needs to tone it down a little bit while making things more natural. Spears was awkward. Macfarland was meh. Tebow could be better.
I am all for showing the most obscure sports we can possibly show. Ideally, every single SEC sporting event would be televised by the SEC Network if it isn't already being televised.

Everyone seemed nervous, but the anchor guy, Noka was great, Booger and MacDonald were solid, and McElroy seemed like a natural.

Someone teach Maria Taylor how to pronounce Era, and that its the Missouri Tigers, not Razorbacks.
She looks good though.

Mcelroy was horrible. Most intelligent of the lot was obviously Spears.

Danny Kannell is a HUGE douche. It made me sick to my stomach to see him on the SEC network... the reason you probably hate him is because he's a HUGE ACC homer, huge in a way that few are. He secretly hates the SEC... idk if it's really a secret though...

The male host needs to stop shouting. Talking will suffice.
And nobody cares about his one-liners and attempts at being witty.

Spears is God awful...period. Tebow is way too uptight and needs to adjust collar and loosen up. McElroy is articulate...but he looks like he has wood underneath that table and his crimson undies are all soaked...mention Bama around him (which seems too freaking easy to do for the SECN) and he gets stiffy?
But between him...Tebow and Spears thers no question he is easier on the ears but not on the eyes....maybe he needs sun tanning? Dude is pale.
With all the loot ESPN got for this package....must be some talent out there?

I only watched the segment with spears and saban. Between spears, tebow, and McElroy the only one with even the slightest bit of charisma was Spears. Tebow and McElroy might as well have been stiff boards. Spears must have done something else later in the program for you to form that opinion.
