You wanna say that the comment about taking cyrus out is pathetic cause its like saying you won the first half?
I'm pretty sure that to get an accurate reading you would HAVE to take Cyrus out since he hasnt signed a LOI to ANYONE yet. So you are now basing your beatdown of everyone on a mythical score that isnt even accurate yet because your biggest recruit realized at the last second that maybe Brother Chiz was a brainwashing evangelical con afterall.

Auburn has 710 all-time wins, and we are the "second tier" program in our own state
LSU has 709 all-time wins and has no major in-state competition and a great recruiting base
Historically we are basically the same program, so are we overachieving or is LSU just underachieving?

I'm not reading this whole back and forth thread, but Auburn isn't ahead of LSU at the moment on Rivals......And I hope no one really thinks there's much of a difference in any of these top classes.

Don't you realize if the coaches jumped ship they would be admitting guilt? That's common sense. Malzahn was looking for somewhere to run and hide but Lowder ponied up to get him to shut up and stay.
And please play all of your freshmen next year if you really believe they are that good. You may need to sense you have nothing behind what you graduated and who left early.

To Eagle of War AU: Considering LSU's historical record against Auburn is 24-20-1, I fail to see the point you are making with a comment such as "LSU was just considered a mediocre team for a long time...Til a certain coach came and LEFT". Actually, if you had bothered to look up the records on this site, you would have realized Saban had a 2-3 record against Auburn, and our Special ED coach owns a 4-2 record against your beloved team. But, don't let the facts get in the war of your feeble flame attempt.

Exactly.... I already knew the records FWIW, Im a frickin AU fan. Do you not think I know what Saban did against AU? I'm talking about the "Elite" label ya'll given yourself. You made my point for me by the overall record. AU has been mediocre on and off so? With the record so close, how can LSU be a top tier team but AU be a 2nd? that's all I was saying.. Thanks for proving my point, Glad you could see it my way

I pay no attention to top classes until they are 2-3 years in the program. It really helped UF last year, rankings don't matter.
And I said the name Barrett Trotter to the kids at my daughters day care and they all laughed uncontrollably, except for one who barfed everywhere. Fearsome.
