It really isn't that bad over there. Trust me there are areas of B/CS much worse

SC has 26 million people. That is why ESPN/Disney is all over their jock. TAMU has far fewer fans than USC, and TAMU is NOT a national brand, even though Aggies have no idea how little they are known nationally. Just because there are a lot of former Ags in the military from the corp does not translate to a national brand.

Who said ANYTHING about a national brand? We're talking about THE JOB.

The only reason a coach would leave a top 25 all-time program in the SEC with sellout crowds for every game, and damn near every game on national TV, for another top 25 all-time program in the FudgePac is if he is looking for an out or has some special connection with the other program.

It may be a better job (arguable), but not good enough to leave a good situation for a bad one.

Sumlin leaving for SC would require him to either take a virtual pay cut, or will require SC to pony up 6 bills a year just to make the change worth it. On top of that, Sumlin would go from one rapidly improving situation to one where he is required to rebuild after NCAA sanctions.

I'll bet some of you tards on here actually make business decision in the same fashion you expect from Sumlin.

This thread is full of pure brilliance, It's like some of you have never even heard of the concept of a good business decision. I swear. It is amazing that some people are able to get up in the morning, get dressed, drive to their fast-food job, work the fryer all day, and make it back home without accidentally killing themselves with their own stupidity.

How many of you geniuses are responsible for making major decisions, cuz I need to call your boss before your idiocy bankrupts the organization?
