That's because you're rebuilding the stadium.

Mr. Davis said that gifts designated for the $450-million redevelopment of Texas A&M’s stadium, Kyle Field, had accounted for more than a third of the $740-million total.

Of course, you blockheads bragged that you paid cash for the stadium, when you just sold $320 million in bonds. That is debt. Another lie exposed.

UT Austin gets more than twice as much excellence funding than A&M-College Station. That is not "about the same."

Why isn't UT Austin more than twice as "excellent"? Because we're on track to soon be twice as excellent as you in our annual research budget. That's money people give us expecting scientific results in return, not money that is used to forgive loans to law school profs. and pay off lawsuits against the athletic department.

Feel free to state the portion of the advertised, system-wide endowment that belongs exclusively to the Austin campus. We're waiting...

I didn't realize that Texas had a 0% state income tax! Good for you guys! I think Florida and Tennessee is similar.

Comparing money between A&M and SC is ridiculous. SC had over a billion dollars donated last year alone. There a private institution and don't have to report anything. Heres a link for my first sentance. LINK . I didn't come here to hate on A&M, I really like watching manziel play. I know SC has had some terrible terrible years lately but comparing SC and A&M football programs or athletic programs its not even close. I've never been to College Station, but I don't think I will ever see anything like Venice Beach on 4th of July in College Station.

Dude. LA is a shithole. Why do you think all you scrawny frickers are moving to Austin?

Also, your school is in the middle of a ghetto. GTFO with this nonsense.

You're really going to pick a time when school is out to compare? Really?

Who spends 4th of July in a blue state anyway unless they have no other choice?

Now tell us how you're going to just shove money at Nick Saban and he will crawl to Austin.

Been to LA on several occasions. the weather is spectacular, and the women are nice looking to say the least. It has its drawbacks, but you might be
exaggerating just a tad.
