Also, when you run down a steep hill you run the risk of this happening. (FWIW those are Clemson fans, not players, at some Clemson fantasy camp?)

great. so i'll be the creepy old 32 year old at the corner of the bar.

You can still go... the scenery will be worth it. But if not, there are tons of places in the Vista that could be more for your taste.

Five Points = college crowd, co-eds, etc
Vista = recent USC grads, young professionals, classier establishments.

I do like how at ACC stadiums you can leave at half time.

This x10000! Nothing better than leaving at halftime, walking 50 feet to your tailgate, grabbing some food, ripping a couple shots, and getting your flask re-filled. The thing that was so crazy about Clemson was how compact the tailgating and gameday experience was. I’ve been to bigtime games in SEC stadiums and it can take 30 minutes to get to tailgates. Clemson’s tailgates are a couple steps away and the halftime leave and re-enter policy is AWESOME!

Agree. QueenCity and me went to the TCU game in 2009, which was the same weekend that we beat Ole Miss on a THursday, but thats beside the point. Anyways, we walked out during half time and ended up getting re-hammered and were back in the stadium with 10 mins left in the 3rd quarter.

Yea I can't imagine what would happen at SEC schools if they allowed people to re-up at halftime. It would be BAD haha!

I was supposed to go to that TCU game but passed due to gametime and the weather. Wasn't it pouring the whole game and like a noon kickoff?

Noon kickoff, rain started in the 3rd quarter, and it was a monsoon by games end. Not a pleasant experience, although it was entertaining to watch all of the pissed off Clemson fans leaving the game in the rain. We went with two of our buddies who were Clemson fans, and they both wanted to leave right after the game and head back to Charlotte. We stayed up there that night and made the most of it at Loose Change and Tiger Town Tavern.

There might not be a bar in the South outside of FSU that can beat the talent per square inch at Loose. That bar is so tiny but has soooooo much trim walking around! Smart choice my man!

I went to the bowl game against Clemson in 07, the regional games against them in baseball, and the game last year.

Their fans blow.

Go to Columbia and enjoy yourself.

Yep. You are right about that. Small, and packed with sorostitutes. I put it up there with Pavlovs (USC) and Gallettes (Bama).

Death Valley is much nicer than columbia and I still think they have a better football tradition even though USC football usually beats clemson. But if your planning on going out at night I would go to columbia. So let us review: Go to Clemson for the tailgating or go to Columbia for the night light life.

Even as a Carolina fan, I have to laugh at this. We have destroyed them the last two years, but they hold the series edge.

Sshh, I have a niece who will be 2 in July so as far as she and that part of the fan base is concerned we are 2-0 against Clemson and dominate them annually.

Too funny. I wish we had dominated them. I think the tide has turned though honestly.

Oh yeah, and perhaps the largest contributing factor to that is that the best in-state kids that all used to flood to Clemson or out of state schools, now come here. Of course Clemson and other schools have good SC kids, but the last 3 SC Mr.Footballs have come here and have produced the best RB/WR combo in the nation. Maybe its due to their athletic skill, or maybe their mindset of growing up knowing how important the SC/CU game is to in-staters but we have played Clemson the last 2 years that hasn't been seen in decades.

That has been huge. Clemson out-recruited us on paper this year, but honestly, they have some major holes in their class. We do not.

Yeah we've been good at recruiting our needs, even if they aren't all the most highly ranked. Besides if Clowney can produce as quickly as Lattimore and Alshon have.. I think we'll be in good shape on both sides of the ball.

Saw Clowney play several times in HS, and he is 1/10 as dominate as he was on the HS level, then we will be fine. He is an animal.
