In that case you could probably do either. I can admit I’m somewhat biased against USCe. I have been there for two games and they weren’t great experiences, but I’ve heard people who have had great times. Couple that with the three times I went to Clemson and had a blast, and I can’t really speak objectively haha.

I will say that depending on when you play USC, Columbia can be a hot sticky death trap during certain times of year especially given that you’re tailgating on nothing but concrete/asphalt with no shade. Clemson atleast has some trees and grass although it’ll be just as hot if not hotter once you go down into the Valley as it boils in there if you’re not upper deck.

I'll be attending both. I dread the Clemson trip.. Their fans were awful at JHS last year.. USCe fans were the opposite.

The best part of their fans was listening to some whiny bitch complain about hometown cookin on teh D. Adams TD catch. He got real quiet when I explained the the away team brings the conference refs.

They were okay. Real mouthy when they'd walk by, but it was real juvenile shite that you just kind of looked at your buddies like wtf? I didn't have any that wanted to get in your face, fight or anything like that.

Agree. All the USC fans I met were top notch.

Went to the Clemson game @CU last year, and outside of just hating anything Clemson related one of the biggest negatives I had about the trip was that it is so far tucked away in the corner of SC. Once we got in Anderson, I thought we'd be arriving at Clemson soon but I swear it took anywhere between another 35-1 hour to get on campus and into our parking spot.

And yes SC does have much better bar/restaurant spots for the younger college crowd and the older crowd.

Also, as pointed out in this thread.. generally speaking SC fans are "nicer" than CU fans, but given the way the SECCG turned out last year.. combined with the whole Cam Newton ordeal I would not be surprised to see many-a-SC fan hold personal grudges and act douchier than usual.
Ironically not a single CU fan got in my face last year, maybe it was the fact that we crushed their arse in Columbia in '09 combined with SC had just won the East and stomped UF in the Swamp. They saw their imminent doom.

An hour and a half after the game is over, you'll still be sitting in your car in your parking space waiting for traffic to clear.

Thats the issue most SC fans would take exception to.

That is my one concern. This will be my only away game and i am sure we will catch serious hell for that...regardless of how true or not it may be.
