I would rank Auburn's higher and LSU's a bit lower, but that's just me. I used to be a die hard LSU fan (many, many years ago) but could never really get into purple and gold, for some reason. (No offense meant, LSU fans)

Burnt orange – or “Texas orange” – was used from 1925 until the Second World War, when the dye was no longer available. Team uniforms reverted back to their original bright orange color for almost two decades, until Coach Darrell Royal returned to the Texas orange in the early 1960s.

The shopkeeper gave them the colors he had the most in stock: white ribbon, which was popular for weddings and parties and was always in demand, and bright orange ribbon, because no one bought the color, and the store had plenty to spare.

I think Tennessee's uniforms look horrible.
Then to top it off they have some grey and orange uniforms that make you want to puke.
Now I am a State alum but I do think OM's uni's look good except for the Baby Blue/Powder Blue helmets. When I see them I think about a baby shower instead of a football game.
State's all-white uniform that we wore in the Snow Bowl against A&M and then again last year in the Egg Bowl against OM looked sharp. However, they should only be worn sparingly.
A couple of my pet peeves: 1. If your normal color does not include black, please do not ever ever ever wear black. The black out games are stupid. Again unless black is part of your uniform.
2. For State, please please never ever wear maroon pants again. They look horrific. I am not sure which is worse, maroon jerseys and maroon pants or white jerseys and maroon pants. Both look really bad.
The maroon/white or white/white look so much better.
Thanks now that I got that off my chest, I feel better.

As an AU fan I have always thought the stromtroopers were the best uniforms in all college football. That said, I have never been a huge fan of the home uniforms, think they are just ok. I really have always liked LSU's uniforms and OM uniforms. I used to think UCLAs powder blue's with the funky numbers and navy script on the helmets were the best but they had to ruin it.

I'll be straight up - I like LSU's uniforms, and I haven't seen them in anything over the last decade that I really didn't like (save the purple tops/gold pants)...........................................................................but it's not one of the best looking uniforms in the country.

Florida's blue on white is one of the best looks in college football. The orange helmet with all white is a solid look as well.

LSU helmets are butt ugly. That cartoon tiger is tacky.
