Georgia will always be somewhat mediocre as a program. The "It" factor is missing.

Yeah and we are in some Natty polls for 1984 and 1985 as the #1 team. Why don't you try and find them in our media guide?

This site says you have 1.

Completely flawed the AP gave OSU the title in 1942 with virtually every other poll giving us the title.

I think API is the most tortured fan base. Always having the lil brother syndrome. Wanting something so bad, but never reaching to the same pinnacle. Just add 3 more someway. Hook or crook you'll try your best. By the way, is your 57 really legitimate since you were on probation?

I hope you were tortured by hot women from Clemson or something because I'm not real sure what kind of torture you had that you'd want to have continue.

There were plenty of women in Athens, no need to go to Clemson for that. I'm sorry if you couldn't find them while you were in Athens, but I guarantee you that they were available.

Hopefully you don't mean football?

I also had the opportunity to bartend at one of the more popular bars in town (at the time) for three years and made a good amount of money during football season. Bartending to save $ on student loan debt > pretty much everything else available to do in Athens that would help with loan reduction, IMO.

UGA went 74-32.

And went 0-2 in SECCGs, one was a 42-10 loss.

Yeah, I contributed to about as many wins as I did losses - none. I think you're taking SEC football too seriously.

You went 5-3 in bowl games with the wins being CFA bowl, Sugar against Hawaii, Capital One, Independence Bowl, Capital One.

You lost the Liberty Bowl to Central Florida, Outback and Gator.

Bowl games? We're talking about bowl games? At least we made it to a bowl game every year.

In that 8 year span 9 SEC teams went to the BCS NCG.

4 programs, but your piss poor attempt at trolling is noted. We inexplicably dropped from 2nd to 6th in 2007 without losing. We were 5 yards away from playing for the national title in 2012. It's not like we weren't right there.

I think you're taking winning and losing too seriously. How many AU wins have you ever contributed to? Let me guess: 12th man, right? I bet you shook the shite out of your orange and blue pom pom, didn't you?

I got to see some great individual talent. The list goes on and on, there's really no point in even trying to name them. I traveled to Columbia, Jacksonville, Knoxville, Auburn, Tuscaloosa, Baton Rouge, Stillwater, Clemson, New Orleans, etc. for football during my time there. Unsurprisingly, Auburn was the worst trip I've made.

I got to see some quality games and seasons, even if they didn't deliver anything of substance besides two East titles and a Sugar Bowl victory. 8+ wins in every season but one. Won at least 10 in '07, '08, '11 and '12. For reference, that's 2 different times UGA had consecutive 10 win seasons in an 8 year span. Otherwise known as: twice as many times as AU has had the same good fortune -- throughout AU's entire history.

The only disappointment was that we won the SEC the year before I got there, but failed to during my time. We'll probably win it this year just to spite me. I didn't expect a national championship going in, but thought it was possible. But for a four point loss in 2007 and a four point loss in 2012, the opportunity would have presented itself. I'm not sure why you're so angry or why you went through the pain of researching the 8 years I spent in Athens. I enjoyed the hell out of myself. Your concern is noted.

So that article totally forgot about Tennessee's BCS championship. Like a lot of people, I guess...

However, TAMU hasnt done squat either. Consider the talent they have had in the last 3-4 years alone. Multiple top offensive Line draft picks. A heisman trophy and superior NFL caliber WR's. Yet no real success.

My favorite part was when Tebow broke Herschel's record, but i can't remember the team he was playing at the time.
