So you have a green monster, is that supposed to be better or something?

80 parks to go, I'm sure that won't make any difference in the final outcome, right?

These rankings aren't just for the ballpark itself, but for the "ballpark experience"

Makes the list even worse.

How would you know?

With Liberty #5, something tells me that the people who ranked this are in or from South Carolina.

I'd probably rank 1-4 as MSU, Ole Miss, LSU, & Arkansas.

I don't think I ever heard anyone in Atlanta define Ross Chandler as a staple of the city while I lived there.

I think most of us outside of the state of South Carolina can agree on the four and then it just becomes a matter of personal preference.

LSU, Arkansas, State, Ole Miss.

Are you serious? Top 3 are easily South Carolina, Alex Box, and Baum. Those aren't in any order.

The MS schools fall behind those 3.

That depends on if you are talking about "how nice the stadium is" or "how good the fan experience is". Those are two very different things.

No one matches what MSU and OM do in the outfield...

Ill give you that. But overall body of work it's

1. Baum
2a. Carolina stadium
2b. Alex Box
3. Swayze
4. Dudy

I'm not getting "overall body of work". You are either talking about how nice the stadium is(in which case MSU doesn't belong in the top 4) -- or "how good the experience of watching a game is there" -- in which case MSU can be #1 -- or dead last in all of college baseball -- depending on where you sit and what your intentions are. If you "go to actually watch a game" and get stuck in the bleachers down either line, there isn't a worse experience in all of baseball. If you go for the overall experience and hang out in the lounges, nowhere is better...

The sheer level of ignorance on this board, at times, never ceases to amaze me.

I like this list. LSU will make a better case when we expand again, which should happen again in a couple of years.

Swayze is the rowdiest, however. I will not rest until LSU gets a student section like the rebs. When we do that, then I'll say we have the best atmosphere in college baseball

I've been to Alex Box, Baum, and Swayze. Baum is nice but the exterior/facade is plain. Alex Box is nice too, great entrance, great club seating, & the Wally Pontiff Hall of Fame is badass. However, we really need chair back throughout the whole stadium. I believe I've heard it should happen soon. Swayze has an awesome atmosphere but the facility itself wasn't anything special (still great though). I want to go to USC, MSU, and A&M.

For LSU to get to consensus #1, we need a berm & all chair back seating imo

LSU's was never meant to be a showpiece, it was built to replace the dump that Alex Box stadium was. after Katrina construction costs soared and they were not able to afford all the bells and whistles they wanted. Over time they continue to add things to it as they get money.
Anyway, it's more about what kind of baseball is played inside of it
