For LSU to get to consensus #1, we need a berm & all chair back seating imo

SCAR has both ... but I do like the Box, especially since all the renovations.

I've read through the entire thread and there are some seriously butthurt fans in here ... but I get it, I do. Everyone takes pride in their ballparks in the SEC. We've got a bunch of good ones, that's for sure.

LSU's was never meant to be a showpiece, it was built to replace the dump that Alex Box stadium was. after Katrina construction costs soared and they were not able to afford all the bells and whistles they wanted. Over time they continue to add things to it as they get money.
Anyway, it's more about what kind of baseball is played inside of it

Well put. We spent more than Carolina, but they got more out of their money due to our inflated Katrina costs.

And yes, I am very outspoken about just how bush league bleachers are in a new baseball stadium. You want asses in every seat? You need chairback these days.

I believe it was Ben Mcdonald who said during a broadcast that they do in fact have plans to add more suites. I am assuming that project will include all chairbacks too. We also need a 360-degree walkway around the stadium.

Are you serious? Top 3 are easily South Carolina, Alex Box, and Baum. Those aren't in any order. The MS schools fall behind those 3.

I've never been to SC.

I've heard on here (take it for it's worth) that the next addition will have the same look as the softball stadiums right field batting cages/lounge area. However, it will wrap around the outfield and will be a club seating/suite/plaza complex.

I would be more than cool with that, as long as they added all chairback seats into the project. That sounds like what Arkansas has planned for their next expansion.

I suppose bleachers can stay in the outfield...I guess.

every seat should be chair back and we should have a berm/party area. We could move the students and standing room only to the berms and make more selling all the chair backs.

plus with chair backs chris has more room to run around screaming.
