Y'all have always won the star battle. How's that been workin out?

That's what so many people dont get.

Hell, our starting MLB is a 2-star R-Fr that is 2nd in the country in tackles by a Freshman. He's just really starting to figure all this shite out. McKinney is going to be outstanding. 2-star

Mullen has the best recruiter in the state on his staff.

So let me get this straight... You can't go by rivals star rating of players but you can go by their judgement of coaches recruiting talent?

Ok our starting MLB is a walk on grey shirt. So is our center. Our staring QB wasn't even ranked out of HS. Our LT was a 2 star. Our other starting LB wasn't ranked either and is 5th in the SEC in tackles at 200lbs as a freshman.

Thanks. i was kind of leaning MTSU. I think you will def win but damn their resume is fairly impressive this year and may get you looking ahead a bit. This one could be close.

We didn't go after Jake or Austin didnt offer Kent and I already explained Mix. You will get Rumph and that's a clear win. You will also get Mason and Cox but we didn't get in on them until August.

Are you saying that OM really didn't want Deon Mix? Who is Mason?

me, you, and omaha all know that ole miss would have taken those guys if they were interested.

Taken only because we have so many scholarships. If y'all had room y'all would have taken Ray Ray and Duke but you didn't and because of that they will be Rebs. If there wasn't a battle, no one won

Serious statement on recruiting rankings though. Banks was rated the #69 CB out of high school, what a fricking joke.

Maybe name wrong, DE from East? And we would take Deon but we didn't recruit him hard therefore you didn't beat us for him just like we didn't beat you for Ray Ray and soon Duke

Well none of those players were recruited by Freeze so I could throw in Mike Wallace or Patrick Willis. They have nothing to do with Freeze either but that's the trend of this thread

hell of a gamble??? Georgia wanted him and got in too late and it wasnt because of his brother. he had some grade issues and was assumed he wouldnt do anything for a year. he was not a gamble....

Yeah it's a bullshite stat but state fans love using them. Denzel was a 3 year stater for GA's 6a champion. The only reason he wasn't ranked was because of grades.

Brewster was Texas' ace recruiter and is responsible for Vince Young going there so there's more than that.

Is it too low a likelihood that an Auburn wouldn't go and offer him a much more attractive offer and position than anything State could ever provide?

Certainly hope not.

Way to pick out the two least impressive games!!! See below. Beating GA TECH and FIU at home is more what I was talking about. In no way do I mean to disrespect your bad arse team by saying MTSU has an impressive resume because they do.

Aug 30 McNeese State Cowboys -7 Lost 21 - 27 Loss
Sep 8 Florida Atlantic Owls -7 49 Won 31 - 17 Win / Under
Sep 15 @ Memphis Tigers -5.5 54 Won 48 - 30 Win / Over
Sep 29 @ Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 24.5 63 Won 49 - 28 Win / Over
Oct 6 Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks 3 62 Lost 17 - 31 Loss / Under
Oct 13 @ Florida International Golden Panthers -1 55 Won 34 - 30 Win / Over
