No they aren't. They are ranked slightly higher in the 24/7 composite, primarily because of the Rivals bump they always receive.

When the smoke clears, State and OM will both have easy top 25 classes. OM is getting most of theirs from OOS, while State is getting most of theirs from Mississippi.

that is because they can market immediate playing time truthfully. Nutt used to tell every recruit he talked to that they would start day one with him. Unfortunatly the ones that stuck around and didn't wash out are now faced with that reality with very little depth. Most 5* are lazy and don't want to hear they will have to compete with with juinors and seniors for playing time. They want to hear that they are the greatest and they will be worshipped when they go where ever. Mullen recruits kids who may not have 5* but he has shown that he will take a kid with good work ethics and patience and turn them into Sunday players.

Freeze is doing a better out of state job for sure, but many of those recruits are guys who are not between Ole Miss and State which basically makes your and other claims false.

You have won one battle in state and that's Kailo Moore

Mix as well. As long as Freeze recruits other players and Mullen recruits his it doesn't matter. Nutt and Mullen went head to head a lot more.

He is not a recruiter but is very good schematically.

People say this and it's a load of crap. Tennessee has been ranked in the top 15 in recruiting the last 4 years- we're about 30 or so on average. But we have had twice as many players drafted as they have, and will have our 3rd 1st round pick in a row this April.

Mullen signs more 2-star projects than other coaches, but he develops them and makes them into players. He sees value in these guys that others dont.

Hell, based on results, and not recruiting conjecture before these kids play a college snap, Mullen is one of the best recruiters in the SEC

You saying you won Mix over us is like me saying we won Ray Ray and soon Duke over you. One team wanted the player and that's why the player went there. There wasn't a battle won or fought

I am sure they will both end up with good classes. Now, a serious question, do you think you will cover this weekend or am I going to get burned again like I did with Troy and S Alabama??

Quay Evans? Jefferson? Mix? Soon to be shump. Richie Brown, Austin? None of these kids were in state? Maybe Jake Thomas or Kent Flowers?

We didn't go after Jake or Austin didnt offer Kent and I already explained Mix. You will get Rumph and that's a clear win. You will also get Mason and Cox but we didn't get in on them until August. Just like those two and the others from last class, freeze just got here. He didn't start recruiting them until way too late. Just about every recruit has been recruiting for twice as long as mullen. Last class isn't a fair comparison because he only recruited for 6 weeks

Are we more talented this year than last year? No not really but we are a much better team because of coaching. And if you to by what Engie says, we get an biased bump on rivals, so go look at the average star per class over the last five years on scout. State has won 3 out of 5. And what the frick does this have to do with what I said, which was arguing the point that Mullen is out recruiting freeze in the state. He's won one battle. Why are y'all bringing up stupid shite

what are you arguing then? honestly i don't think either coach's recruiting will overlap much with the other.
