A&M has the best two losses of any 2 loss team. Should be a tad higher IMO.
Oklahoma says GFY. Losses to #3 and #4.

Losing by 3 scores at home disqualifies you from the discussion, regardless of who it was to.

I love how since the ags joined the SEC, La Tech is used as a measuring stick.
LaTech is not the same LaTech from a few years ago. They are a very competitive team and would give a lot of BCS conference teams fits. I would argue that they would finish above teams like Arkansas and Ole Miss in the SEC.

They also rolled Texas and Texas Tech on the road.

Ummmmmmm, No. Your freshman phenom couldn't run and got confused, harrassed, and beat by the best defense in the country, outside the city limits of Tuscaloosa. Once Chavis adjusted A&M was dead in the water.
You guys win but this quote is retarded. Our phenom did fine. He had 300 yards of offense by himself and only 1 of the picks were his fault.
That 300 yards is more than any other team out up on y'all and he did it alone. We had 400 yards of offense but costly turnovers and missed kicks by freshman did us in. I ain't mad tho. Those same fish are ehy we're as good as we are and have a bright future.

Nobody said anything about measuring stick, just pointing out facts

quote:Here's a list of the AP Unanimous #1's. Miami, OU, Florida State, Ohio St. and LSU have multiple weeks at unanimous #1's. Alabama had only been voted unanimous #1 in the final polls for 2009 and 1992 before this year.
What is the most number of weeks that a team has gotten at least 95% of the first place votes? Bama's gotten at least 95% of the first place votes in the AP poll for seven consecutive weeks

No problem with being ranked behind USCe. I do think that we should be above OU though

Oh.....
Not this shite again.
We fricking lost. Done. We didn't hand them the game. We fricked up too much and they forced a lot of it. Get over it.
WE ARE NOT THE BEST 2 LOSE TEAM. WE ARE ABOUT WHERE WE BELONG. NOTHING BETTER.

can't be serious....We're still behind USC with 2 losses! WTF? We lost to the unanimous #1 team in the nation and we drop 7 spots

I dont understand why aggies keep throwing this stat out there. Take in account all missed kicks and you still lose.
Youre freshman phenom is good, but he faces a great defense and didn't know how to handle himself. He will grow and I'm sure he will shred LSU before it's over with, but saying a&m gave lsu the game is just silly.
You're last TD drive that even gave you a prayer, if you don't recall, consisted of LSU giving up multiple penalties, one of them being a 15 yard personal foul. It works both ways. The better team won.

They were looking for a marketing pitch for next weekend:
The game of the year, from down in the SEC - A Top 5 matchup between #1 Tide from the land of rolling houses and the #5 Tigers.

If Mett was even halfway decent, we would have lost by 2+ TDs. I don't remember how many wide open receivers he missed, but I know it was at least 3 that would have gone for a TD if he could make a throw

LA has more mobile homes than Alabama.
