Will State drop out of the Top 25 after they lose to A&M and LSU?
I don't see State losing to A&M, IF they contain rush Johnny Football. Their secondary can limit to an extent his passing ability, contain him and stuff their run. MSU has an efficient passing attack and one of the better running games in the conference. The game is in Starkville isn't it?

Our UF loss was only by 3 points and we beat La Tech which is ranked 23

Duh, it's all about the "Top 5" match up this week...if LSU was outside the top 5 the game would lose some of its luster. Don't you realize that the SEC manipulates all the rankings to make the match-ups appear better than they really are?

Maybe, but there's no one behind LSU (besides maybe Florida and ineligibe Ohio State) that deserves to be in front of LSU.
Can't really put Georgia ahead of LSU considering the schedules and way both teams lost. Can't put Florida State ahead of LSU with their ugly loss.
LSU is right where they should be. Only team that has a gripe is Florida, but the LSU-Georgia-Florida trio is tricky to rank considering the results of games played.
I think what you meant is "LSU does not look like a #5 team should look"...and while that may be true, there's really no one behind them that deserves to be in front of LSU.

A&M beat La Tech when they were @ #23 in the AP. While not very impressive in the fashion it happened, La Tech is one of the best offenses in the country and would take it to half of the SEC teams. Btw, Florida romped USC 44-11. Little old aggies only lost by 3. Home or not, A&M's loss is more impressive (if there is such a thing). Aggies also handed the game to LSU.

What about the Florida team that beat LSU?

Did you not read my post? In relation to LSU, Florida is the only team with a real gripe about being behind LSU.
Taking into account that the LSU-Florida game was a close game that could have gone either way and the way UGA got shallacked at USC and the timing of the UGA-Florida game, it's easier to stomach for most peope IMO with it being LSU/UGA/Florida than UGA/Florida/LSU

The gap between Oregon and KSU is so small that the computers should push KSU to #2. The gap between them and Notre Dame, however, is wide enough that the computers won't do the same for them.

Ummmmmmm, No. Your freshman phenom couldn't run and got confused, harrassed, and beat by the best defense in the country, outside the city limits of Tuscaloosa. Once Chavis adjusted A&M was dead in the water.

What is the most number of weeks that a team has gotten at least 95% of the first place votes? Bama's gotten at least 95% of the first place votes in the AP poll for seven consecutive weeks and the USA Today/Coaches Poll for six consecutive weeks. I can't remember the last time a team has garnered so much respect for that long of a period.

I never edited my first sentence. It Was there from the get-go.
Regardless, your comment was that LSU was overrated at #5....and considering that there is only one team behind LSU that has a legitimate argument to be ranked ahead of LSU (Florida), your comment doesn't make a whole lot of sense. LSU may not look like the #5 team, but someone has to be #5 and everyone behind LSU doesn't deserve to be ahead of LSU.
It will all play out, though. If LSU is indeed Top5, we'll find out Saturday. If LSU is not Top5, we will find out Saturday. If Georgia or Florida deserves to be ahead of LSU, we'll find out in Atlanta.
