The thing I am really looking forward to is Coach Mason's game plan. I think Mason is one very smart coach - probably behind only Saban and Mullen in the SEC. If he has a great game plan and we execute it properly, at least until our lack of depth kicks in at 4th quarter, I'll be okay. But there is a chance, always a chance.

It means that this game could stay one or two scores into the second half before Bama's massive depth and raw talent advantage show. It very well could be a 20+ point victory for Bama, but I would say it's very realistic the score is close through 3 quarters. The game will likely never be in doubt from start to finish, but it likely won't be a trouncing.

I agree. It should be close through most of the 3rd quarter, then depth should take over.

All it takes is a few turnovers, and Vandy can stay in it.

We have had approx 0 all year. So let the hopes and dreams continue.

BAMA isn't K-State

Give Saban time. A little hard work and he can get them there.

Take notice random!! Jalen Hurts isn't some slow white boy playing QB. That same QB that ran for 126 yards on your defense!! Jalen also throws it a helluva lot better too!!

I wouldn't call Ertz slow, but that is the very thing I worry most about.

If Vandy struggles somewhere on defense it's against running QBs.

Saban knows this. I expect him to use that to his advantage.

Vandy just has a knack now for not letting people score TDs. This is their best hope to keep this game close.

Vandy will get their shite pushed...waaaay in, bruh.

Don't get bedazzled because Sippi State beat a weak LSU squad. That's what happening here.

think Coach Mason has done a great job at Vandy. "The Process" makes it very difficult to upset Alabama. They are fundamentally sound on virtually every down. To beat them you need three things, an equally sound team, equal athletes and extraordinary depth. I think the only one of the three Vandy meets is the sound fundamentals.

Ole Miss had none of these, and beat you twice.

Anchor Down! Do us a solid Vanderbilt!

Not worried at all. Bama will win but I have a lot of respect for Mason and Vanderbilt. They have a good shot to win 8-9 games. I don't think it is a blowout but I'll say bama wins by 15.

I can tell you Bama fans or a good many are concerned that Bama comes out flat and loses or that it will be an ugly win which is what I expect. With the defensive performance the last two weeks due to a ton of injuries and down two starters in the LB corp, fans aren't seeing the same dominant defense they're used to so yes they are concerned.

Playing a team with a sound defense like Vandy is like playing a baseball team with a good pitching staff. They can keep it close late in the game to where any freak occurrence (bad snap, blocked kick) can get ya.
I think Bama will win by 13+, but this might be a struggle.
