why do I have a sinking feeling that all of these other "reports", "articles", "items" have been spawned from TexAgs....

By looking at these autograph brokers websites, you can now understand why they aren't going to be willing to cooperate with the NCAA.

This is their business. They make massive amounts of money in a industry that is super slimy & against NCAA rules.

Cooperating with the NCAA would only lead to their business being exposed, players getting suspended, future players being unwilling to sign autographs, and them losing money. Not going to happen.

I gotta agree with Klark Kent. If Clowney was even half as much of a douche as johnny cash, they'd be up in his shite too.

Initial reaction:

"JFF sold his autographs to get rims on his car? Totally see that happening..."

"Clowney has signed memorabilia out there as well? He probably signed those for a bus full of orphans... what a guy!!"

Go on ebay. The same vendor is selling autographed pictures of Amari Cooper, TJ Yeldon, and Marquise Lee, Jadeveon Clowney.

Klark, absolutely right. Manziel puts himself out in the public eye way too much. Comes off as a douche to some.

Clowney keeps a low profile. So while public perception may be worse for Manziel, it doesn't change the fact that this broker had a shite ton of stuff from a lot of athletes.

So a reasonable person is supposed to think what?

I know, right? I'm sure he will use his Heisman speech to bring attention to the plight of these poor, downtrodden urchins.

You do realize that Manziel isn't looking at getting in trouble simply because stuff he autographed is up for sale on the Internet, right? You realize there's more of a connection between what the NCAA is investigating and Manziel than his signature, right?

Right?

I'm sure all those players are great friends with the autograph broker and signed all those photographs just because they are great buddies with them.

Of course TJ and Amari were down in south Florida at the same time as Manziel.

Clowney and Marquise, maybe they mailed theirs in.

I did, and what it looked like to me was that Maroon Flash is trying to conflate the sales of other players' memorabilia with what's going on with Manziel.

Did I miss something there?
