Yea I'm not buying this. ESPN kept trying to build excuses for him last night saying "the RB came in and helped" when the RB missed his chip blocks etc.
No reason he should have been gassed early in the 2nd quarter when USC had the ball 10 minutes in the first quarter. He had prob played 10 snaps in 30 minutes

He was double/triple-teamed last year, too. And he looked great last year
Not is you ask lsu fans.
he had no eye popping stats against ecu either, they run the same 3 step, slant throwing offense unc does.
you know what....?
we will just have to see how the season unfolds..

I saw him one time run in the UNC backfield real fast. It was awesome.

Agreed. Hope he gets back to where he should be.

Yea, if he did have a stomach thing last night then we will see how good he can be. Something looked real bad last night

stomach virus is sc's excuse for everything. thats why they lost to FL and LSU last year.

Everything has to be a "story." It's like their trying to sell magazines with an outlandish headline or picture.
Sports fans will watch the games. Other people will not. Hey national sports media, quit blowing things out of proportion, be it a game, a player or whatever. It doesn't matter. A big game will be watched by fans of that sport no matter what.
Quit with all of this "Clowney will be/is the greatest defensive CFB player" ever. Based on one hit last New Year's Day?? It's ridiculous and it makes watching sports coverage unbearable to fans with any semblance of knowledge about the games.
