There were several stories on al.com earlier this year. They stopped construction of one that was in progress and put a moratorium on building new ones for the time being. Said they had built more than needed for students and the people they were attracting were not the kind of people that were wanted or needed in Auburn. They look like nice new apartments to me but apparently they attract Tuskeegee students and single mothers trying to get their kids into the city school system.

So, yeah. what's the big deal here? and all that.
