When I was a student quite a few, under 4 different defensive coordinators. I guess being in the Big XII doesnt give me cred points though. Out in that league though, at least from 2007-2011, defensive coordinators keep up with their position groups at practice. This is especially true in scrimmages. If Chavis isnt doing that, them he's alone and we are fricked.
Not sure what attending practice has to do with the issue though. Never seen a defensive staff meeting at the 50.

IF by keeping up, you mean screaming at with no teaching, then yeah he keeps up with everyone.
