What exactly is this "cream pup" to which you are referring?

We said the same shite 3 years ago, with your magical Cotton bowl run. While in Mullens 1st year we had the toughest schedule in the nation and finished 5-7.

How many SECW teams did you beat that year?

Out of the three ranked teams, one. Not bad considering it was a rebuilding year.

Trivia question of the day for you. When is the last time Ole Miss started 6-0?

Two 7-0 SECW teams battling it out for Atlanta should be worthy of Gameday.

Calling it "Battling it out for Atlanta" is about as appropriate as it was when Bama played undefeated in the SEC, Arkansas. Watching Alabama crush a third tier SEC team is fun and all, but not exactly what the national audience would call compelling.

Gameday would be better served making their annual trip to a FCS or Ivy League school.

Gameday already featured Alabama in Dallas this year and they will most certainly be in Baton Rouge in November. Three times is just too many.

They're going to cover 3rd place LSU, who nearly saved Chizik's job just two weeks ago.

Of ALL SECW teams on the schedule?

Us being ranked is of no consequence.

Hell, I agree with this 100%. Much like this year for us. Although, I believe your program was in MUCH better shape than ours was when Freeze took over.

However, some MSU fans want to beat their chest like they are proven world beaters competing with LSU, BAMA, UF and UGA for SEC dominance already. I'm not saying there's ZERO chance, because anything can happen. But suggesting that State should be penciled in as a SECW contender yearly while Mullen is there is ridiculous. Prove it by beating a good team this year and next and I'll admit State has "arrived".

Hell, if not for Petrino being a retard and Chiz getting chizzed, they'd be the 5th best in the West right now.

I'm just saying that you're getting the benefit of both State playing well AND the East teams on your schedule sucking balls, Auburn and Arky are shite fricked and we are recovering from the worst stretch of program mis-management in the last 30 years.

Of course I wish things had set up nice and easy for us like that. And?

Just one... which was ranked...

Why the grief about our schedule? You have had 3 opportunities in the last decade with "good" OM teams and easy schedules. You had a chance to take the next step forward, and in every single one of those opportunities, you shat the bed against inferior competition. Not our fault that we have handled business and you never could.

The current #12 BCS ranking for MSU is 3 spots higher than OM has ever been in the BCS era. You peaked @ #15 on 11/17/03. Conversely, State was highest ranked at #10 on 11/08/99, something we have an excellent chance of matching with a win this Saturday.

Oklahoma-Notre Dame has more national appeal so they will probably choose that over MSU-Bama.
