What are the other options that day?
By the numbers, it would look like an attractive pick for Gameday, but they may consider saving another Alabama game for the LSU/Bama matchup.

It has a decent chance, but is not guaranteed. They don't always go to the game with the highest ranked teams (see Stanford/Notre Dame vs. South Carolina/LSU), especially if you consider they will probably be in Baton Rouge in 2 weeks if LSU beats A&M.
this. If Tech and KSU both win, my money is gameday being in Manhattan-especially if they've never been to KSU before.

They have been at KSU.
Most likely they will do OU/ND and the LSU/Bama the next week.

Probably will be at Oklahoma vs Notre Dame, or Kansas State vs Texas Tech.

My bet is Notre Dame-Oklahoma and then Alabama-LSU the next week

They won't make that assumption, they decide where they are going the week of for this very reason. Hypothetically if you pass it up and Bama and LSU both lose then you screwed yourself. That being said the Oregon game could straight pass us up, we need some key losses to take place this week to bump us into the top 10.

This will be gameday. It's been while since ND has been doing well.

MSU/A&M the next, after A&M beats LSU and we beat Bama.

Well LSU is on a bye so if we beat AM this weekend you can pretty much guarantee we'll be top 5. And cmon Miss St isn't going to beat Bama so it's really not that much of a gamble. The premier CFB rivalry of the last 5 years

A dominant 7-0 SECW team on their way to Atlanta, kicking the ever loving horseshite out of a mediocre West team that happens to be undefeated due to the luckiest schedule in the FBS, should be worthy of Gameday.
