Or, in this case, completely made up from some hack hoping to break a story.

Menisucus tear isnt a big deal, especially for a pro style QB. He went back in the game the very next series, and scrambled for about 4 yards and looked as mobile as ever.

NOT WORRIED.

According to three sources close to the program, Fox's Russ Mitchell reports that Alabama junior QB A.J. McCarron suffered a torn meniscus in his knee during Saturday's game against Tennessee.
Quarterbacks are able to play with meniscus injuries, but it certainly will limit McCarron's mobility. Head coach Nick Saban has called the injury a "knee bruise" and McCarron did practice on Monday. Don't expect to hear an official announcement on the issue, as some teams tend to be tight-lipped on these things.

This is a guy trying to start a story where there is none. They put a brace on McCarron's knee and he went in on our very next series. Plus, he practiced yesterday and there has been no word from the team on any negative side effects. I'm not worried. The dude played through an injury to his throwing shoulder for 9 or 10 games last year - then had surgery after the championship game on it.

Football, baseball, basketball, on an amateur level, beer pong professionally..and you?

When you're mentally tough, you play through injuries

It probably wont affect him much at all, but if he gets hit again it could go from minor to major with a quickness. Don't be naive enough to think there's not some coaches that will tell players to go for it. I don't like it but it happens everyday

I know. Multiple probs with his report.

1. Sources giving info behind Saban's back.

2. Saban keeping tight lipped about an injury. If he says there is an injury, he's always given the full report. Never partial. All or nothing.

3. It happened against Tenn.
