[quote] Well TCU did beat a top 10 team. We beat a top 16 team. There win was more impressive from a margin of victory. So IMO they did have a better win last last Sat.[quote]

I agree with you and congrats for not wearing rose colored glasses.

Obviously, Bama has a chance to get back in the mix.

I expected MS, FSU, TCU BAMA to be top 4. Oregon seems wrong, but still three weeks to go.

I could see it going down as you stated. I also agree on the havoc that can come of all this too.

Well said.

I dont think State gets in if Bama wins out. Their best win would be against a three loss Auburn team ranked somewhere in the mid teens. Without a conference title, I think they are left out.

The luck will come back around. It will all fall into place for AU, 2011 Bama style

It appears that all they will care about is conference champs. Very politically correct.

I'm sure the committee is determining their own SOS. Is there a set list of their SOS or whichever one they use?

If state loses how do they fall behind Bama or oregon? They would have the best loss and still the most quality wins.

If Baylor wins out, they will jump TCU but at this moment TCU deserves to be ahead of Baylor.

Can't say the same at the end of the season though.

I hate to say it, and it may not be fair.

But Sate is not Bama or Oregon. They are not a big draw.
They do not have the name, and if they are even with Bama, OSU, Oregon, FSU, they are behind.

doesn't mean its right or accurate , but it is what it is.

In the coaches and AP poll, i agree. But the committee has shite all over that with the biggest country turd and it has been great. They kept OM ahead of LSU, they are anal raping THE ohio state. They have T fricking C fricking U over bama. They dont give a damn about name recognition

Oregon is getting a lot of credit for losing when the line was injured and a walk on and true frosh started at tackle. We had 4 offensive tackles out for the AZ game.

Right or wrong we are getting the benefit of the doubt. I personally think we'd paste AZ with Fisher and Andre Y back but I doubt AZ pull through for the championship game.

Byproduct of "if you're going to lose, lose early". They can't put Team A above Team B that high in the rankings if they just lost to Team B.

But, as the season goes on, Team A can climb above Team B. Which is why you need to lose early so you have a chance to come back. If you lose late, you're fricked- no games left to win, or for higher ranked teams to lose and drop.

This is their ideal situation, However, I think ASU, UGA, AU, UM, UF, and N are getting ready to cause havock. And there are going to be a lot of 2 loss teams looking around come Dec 7.

Yep. Anyone who says the playoff devalues the regular season has no idea what they are talking about. This has been one of the most exciting regular seasons I can think of.

If Duke and Nebraska can get to 11-1 each going into the ACC and B1G championship games, there's two more must-see games for you.

The ole miss thing is good but they have a better name than state. And they arent screwing tOSU too bad they are right there for the playoff. They win out , and I promise you they get in. They went from 16 to 14 to 8 and next week they'll be 6 if not 5.

Have Yall not been following the committee's rankings at all? They have not been reactionary at all like that.

Disagree TCU would still be a conference champ and because the big12 currently does not play a CCG they still schedule their last games of the season on championship weekend so the committee will get to see them that weekend just like everyone else and come Sunday morning they will be in the news as conference champs just like everyone else.

TCU just beat a better team this weekend than Alabama did. Kansas State would pummel LSU.

Then they would pummel the gumps too? You beat us in OT? Great analogy fricktard!!

Wrong. If Bama barely edges out Mississippi State, and both win their rivalry games the next week, both will be in the top 4 going into conference championship weekend.

I disagree. They are setting up TCU to leapfrog State if MSU loses. They might even drop below ASU. They'll cite OOC schedule or something. This is the current rank. This is not a coincidence:

1. SEC
2. Pac 12
3. FSU because they have to be there.
4. Big 12
5. SEC
6. Pac 12
7. Big 12

They are setting it up to funnel the SEC Champs, the Pac 12 Champs, Big 12 Champs(committee said they would treat TCU and Baylor each as champions if they have one loss) and FSU.

Timing of a loss doesn't mean anything to the committee.

Yeah. It's going to be fascinating. I really really really want the 8 team playoff to have a provision for the little 5 champ getting an autobid if they are a certain rank. It would be awesome. Love the little guy drama.
