TCU just beat a better team this weekend than Alabama did. Kansas State would pummel LSU.

The top 6 looks good to me. The committee is better than I thought it would be going in.

They are not afraid to shuffle the top 5
i don't know if i like it or not.
They are really weird with their methods

Bama has lost their last 3 games against top ten teams
I am confused here. First why would the committee care about what we did last year. It should have no effect on this year. Last year we went 2-2 vs. top 10 teams not 0-3 and for the record we have yet to play a top ten team this year. Ole Miss was ranked 11th when we played them.

Bingo. If Bama wins Saturday they'll be number 2 on the list and State will be 4.
Haha, nope. If they do have 2 SEC in the top 4 for whatever reason at the end of the year, you can bet they'll be 1 and 4 or 2 and 3. There's no way they'll allow another possible SEC vs SEC NCG

IF MSU drops the game the only way for them to stay in the top 4 will be if someone else in the top 4 also drops their game and they will drop behind UA no doubt.

The SEC will only get one team in the CFB playoff if the remaining teams like Oregon, FSU, TCU, and OSU win out. And if someone from the east wins and the others do as mentioned my guess is the SEC gets no teams in. Even a 1 loss MSU team that does not win the SECCG will not get in over a undefeated FSU, and 1 loss teams like TCU, Oregon, and OSU win their conference.

Everyone on here likes to make fun of Mizzou but you would think as SEC conference mates you would agree we should at least sniff this fricking top 25 over teams like Georgia Tech, Minnesota, and A&M.
Indiana.
A&M has three losses to top ten teams, a win over a top ten team, and no bad losses.

This CFBP committee is the greatest joint venture by the ncaa and espn ever. Seriously, taking away order (bcs) and replacing it with a subjective group of people is going to make both so much money.

There are lies, there are damn lies, and then there are statistics.

Makes perfect sense, the team that's played the 36 toughest schedule jumps the team that's played the 4rth toughest schedule.
Oregon hasn't played as tough a schedule as Bama either, go figure.
You idiots laughing about these biased sob's on the committee wont be laughing when their SEC bias, SEC hating azz0s keep your team out of the playoff in the near future.
Anyone that maked excusedes for Oregon with the old " but the O-LINE was out " is going to use any excuse they can to screw SEC teams in the future.
They can make their vote in dark, WHY IS THESE AZZOs votes not in the light of day?
Like I said, this power should have stayed in the pollsters and computers.

Let's say Bama wins a very close one Sat.
MSU will have 1 loss to a top 5 team on the road. They will have 3 wins against ranked teams, two against top ten teams.
Bama will have 1 loss to a top 10 team on the road, 3 against ranked teams, and one against a top ten team.
I would not be surprised to see MSU stay ahead of Bama based on total body of work if they lose a close one

The committee should have Baylor ahead of TCU then.

Long said the reason TCU is multiple spots ahead of a team that has the same record and beat them is because they have 3 wins against ranked teams and Baylor has 2.
The committee obviously cares more about quality wins as they relate to body of work right now than head to head. Hell, Long said so specifically.
MSU could stay above Bama if they lose a close one. Will be the exact same as TCU and Baylor except MSU will have an even better case as there won't be the SOS gap.

They don't ; that's just one of the Bama haters talking points when they try to discredit Bama. Use an arbitrary time frame for their stats and say, see Bamer ain't got no good wins.

Alabama lost to #10 ole miss @ ole miss by 6 points. Alabama has the better loss im sorry.

I thought so too until I heard Longs explanation. He said and I quote, "the committee ONLY looks to head to head when all else is perfectly equal".
What I am saying is 100% accurate in both the words and actions of the committee tonight.
Lol at your brethren that are discounting what they just said and did.

I also hope Long misspoke when he said TCU had the bigger road win this past weekend. TCU was at home.
