Every Bama fan felt and knew the team was at a low point this year when it won AT Arkansas by a single point.

FSU has been winning like this all year long, both at home and on the road.

Reality is that FSU has just not shown they are the best team in the country. Just the better of each team they've beaten that day.

Eh, maybe I'm old fashioned. I just think winning all your games in a power conference should be worth more than it apparently is.

To be honest, who has shown they are the best team in the country? There's nobody that's been consistently dominant this season.

Alabama had 1 ugly win over a bad team on the road, that turned out to be not that bad.

FSU has what, 6? 7? Most of them at home?

FSU has 0 quality wins and a mountain of scrap by garbage wins over weak teams.

Committee's rankings are dead on.

Ohio State is primed to take #4 spot and leave out the Big 12 all together.

Wow. I would rather have the BCS ranking determine the top 4.

This committee is complete shite. What a terrible idea.

I'm just glad this solved the BCS problem of not having the right teams play for the NC.

After 1 and 2, maybe 3... screw it. Shoulda done more to be in the top 4 than to make it so questionable, imo. It was a given that the 3 and 4 rankings would be a clusterfrick and I said so at the time. Usually, 1 and 2 are for the most part, clear cut.. it's quickly muddled after that, and here we see the fruits of it.

Clemson and Louisville are both quality wins for FSU. If they beat Georgia Tech, that's three wins from teams in the Top 25. How many does TCU have? I think two - Kansas State and Oklahoma.

I don't care for the idea that winning pretty in most of your games is more important than winning all your games.

LSU is currently ranked, a win on the road against any ranked team is ok, even if it was quite ugly. It was also easily LSU's best played game of the year.

I think TCU is in. I don't think they drop two spots if they win Saturday. If they were looking to leave them out they would have left them at 4.

The playoffs were a good idea. Allowing a good ol boy network to determine who is in the playoffs was a bad idea.

So if Bama loses to Mizzou, TCU loses to Iowa State, FSU loses to GT and OSU loses to Wisconsin then Mississippi State is back in the playoffs at #4.

It'd be

1. Oregon
2. Baylor
3. Michigan State
4. MSU

Don't like the precedent of FSU continually getting bumped despite being unbeaten.

Suppose it has more to do with off field than on field?

What happens if the hearing today (and tomorrow as well) do not go in favor of Jamis? With FSU getting bumped down each week it lets off some stream if he is a no go for the bowl games.

FWIW the BCS rankings would currently be

1. Alabama
2. Florida State
3. Oregon
4. TCU
5. Ohio State
6. Baylor

So the committee's rankings are pretty much the same other than the top 4 order.

More like 8 or 9.

Sift through who they've played, how they've looked, and their stats this year. It's absolutely pathetic.

If a season's worth of stats and trends are meaningful AT ALL, FSU will lose by 30 in the playoff. I know thats not very likely, but everything points to them legitimately being average as shite.

I am wondering why the committee is not pushing OSU down for losing it's best player twice? The basketball committee does it for their seeds.

The committee wants FSU out if the picture it seems. A loss to GT and OSU gets in.

I fear a FSU loss and an OSU loss puts two Big 12 teams in. Think that's bullshite when they are the only conference that doesn't play a championship game.
