I doubt both Ohio State and FSU loose although they both very well could. If Bama can get past Mizzou then it looks like playing FSU or a crippled Ohio State is almost a lock.

Eh, maybe I'm old fashioned. I just think winning all your games in a power conference should be worth more than it apparently is.

Is FSU really in a power conference?

I expected to see committee to have the following

1. Bama
2. Oregon
3. Ohio State
4. FSU

OR

1. Oregon
2. Bama
3. FSU
4. Ohio State

I think TV and the committee is hoping to have a reason for a traditional Rose Bowl matchup of Pac 12 vs Big 10 and SEC vs FSU in Sugar.

Ohio State QB injury may have thrown a major monkey wrench into the plan.

I still think that was the plan for a few weeks and TCU is just taking Ohio State place for right now at least and that is the reason for the jump of FSU. Oregon vs TCU in Rose and leave an all south matchup in the Sugar.

If I was not a Bama fan I would be pulling for complete chaos with Bama, Oregon, TCU, FSU, Ohio State and Baylor all losing...

Bama fans should be loving a matchup with FSU.

TCU 31 Minnesota 0

Ohio State 31 Minnesota 24

Baylor, as I stated 4 weeks ago has ZERO SHOT because they scheduled 3 shyt OOC teams, the committee is sending a message.

If TCU wins Saturday it will come down to OSU and FSU for the fourth spot.

I laugh every time someone says this. Yes, TCU won by more, a lot more. TCU also played at home in 90 degrees. OSU played @ minny in the low teens with snow...

OSU played like crap in that game, and I fully admit that, but a score comparison is not indicative (minny scored a garbage td) of the "game flow" as they like to say

My only problem with that is the committee is emphasizing strength of schedule without giving teams and opportunity to adjust for that. Those OOC games were probably scheduled 3-4 years ago.

They beat TCU head to head. The records are otherwise equal. TCU only had one game tougher in the ooc. I've got no dog in this fight, but I think Baylor is getting shafted on this. If they thump K-state and still get ranked below TCU they have a right to feel slighted. If Iowa State plays TCU close, they should plummet.
