What he did isn't Christ like, and as a leader in Christ, you can't commit these kinds of sins and maintain the confidence of your congregation

Nah. He'll just cry like Jimmy Swaggart and his congregation will forgive him. (He got 'em a new church, didn't he?)

I waited too late to pick up a kicker. Wouldn't let me add/drop without putting it on a waiver for next week.

No they don't. They're no different than corrupt politicians, bankers, attorneys, contractors, investors, cops, etc. Are you saying everybody in all those professions is corrupt?

the Catholic church was once and mostly led by a much of child molesters, one of the most punishable offenses in the bible. Corruption is everywhere.

Well, all preachers are inherently corrupt because their life and livlihood is based on ignorance, fabrication, logical fallacies, and outright lies.

But that's neither here nor there.

Cecil won't resign because he is acting exactly as his congregation expects him to act.

Yeah, but he did start a string of slangs: "You just pulled a Cecil!" ... "Son of a Cecil!" ... "When are you going to fix that -- Cecil?" ....

Honestly, how many inner-city "preachers" are legitimate? In Atlanta, it seems anyone at a church inside 285 can proclaim themself a Bishop, Apostle, Reverend, or Brother So-and-So.
