Am I the only person that prefers the prime time spot on ESPN over the 3:30 CBS? I for one can't stand Verne and Gary. But I prefer the night game time slot as a fan as well.

Count me in that category. I'd rather have the night kick even if it was on SEC network.

As for the picks this weekend, I have to agree with the OP, but can see where CBS was coming from. They already used one of their holds so had to make a decision two weeks in advance. Kentucky was riding high and looked like they may be leading the East and LSU had just squeaked past the most horrendous Florida team in the modern era.

CBS has a handshake deal to not take LSU home games unless there is a big reason to do so. They honored their agreement.

That's really not true. LSU just hasn't been an attractive pick this season. Plus the home games are pretty bad. LSU only had three chances to be on CBS at home this season. (Miss State, Ole Miss, Alabama). CBS isn't honoring shite. They have no reason to put LSU's home games on at 2:30 this season.

Mississippi State was early in the season and it wasn't a CBS type game in September. CBS didn't take LSU/Ole Miss because two weeks ago LSU wasn't an attractive pick. CBS will probably make LSU/Alabama their prime time game.

Thanks CBS for honoring LSU's traditions.

Personally I would much sooner watch us with Dreamy Jessie commentating anyday over Gary and Verne.
