Why is that? What is wrong with it?

Because it has this (Toonces) on top of the LSU:

..which is a smaller part of this monstrosity that was used in the early 2000s:

...and that is a slightly less horrible version of this logo, that features some unknown hurricane-like swirl behind it:

A&M has its bevel issues, LSU has Toonces which will not go away. Just posting it here has burned my retinas and caused me irreparable pain and harm.

Infinitely better and more widely accepted are these logos:

This one is the original Tiger head used for decades by LSU that was refreshed a few years ago...very popular with fans.

Why is no one questioning Cali? USC projected tops sure, history tops sure, but UCLA has made them their bitch last what, 3 seasons? and Stanford been doing better too.

Which team was selected best in the state of Maryland? Isn't there only one?

Maryland and Navy are both FBS. I think Towson and maybe UMBC are FCS.

Big year for Stanford if they are going to stay nationally relevant in football.

I think a good case could be made for Northern Iowa to be the best team in Iowa.

Consider that last years preseason number 7 in the SECW was #1 nationally for 6 weeks.

Take this map and a dollar to McDonald's and you can get coffee.

When you blow a 21-point 4th quarter lead in your bowl game, you typically get disqualified from this type of argument.

Although to be fair, TCU blew a 21-point 4th quarter lead in their game against Baylor.

Even Mike Sherman never had an epic choke like that.
