a big 6 member just absolutely plunges into the toilet for a few decades as well. Sorry folks, but that aint happening.

Tennessee has been working on that.

Wow. A Texas fan talking about another program plunging into the toilet?

All Time Conference Titles
Alabama - 24
Texas A&M - 18
Arkansas - 14
Tennessee - 13
Georgia - 12
LSU - 11
Auburn - 8
Florida - 8

If we're counting all conference titles, you do realize SEC teams have been in other conferences as well right? Just want to provide an accurate count. Not sure why it matters, though, given the Big 6 is related to the SEC and not the Southwest Conference

Alabama - 28
Tennessee - 16
Georgia - 14
LSU - 14
Auburn - 12
Florida - 8

Bowl Wins and National Championships are all that matter. Guess we finally made the "big 6"

what defines tBig Six

The way "in" the Big Six should be by knocking off an existing member, in terms of the stats quoted by the OP. If you can win more NCs and SECCs than the current #6 then you should be in.

Expansion teams. Yes, they have had less time to win SECCs. If you can win more NCs (more than 2) and beat out the weakest Big Six member on the other stats mentioned in the OP, then yes we will take your application under consideration.

Otherwise, enjoy the Little Eight.

i mean if we're talking about prerequisites for a big 6 in a single conference, conference titles definitely matter.

OP needs to add "most recent national championship".

Needs to be within 50 years to be considered for membership.
