The SEC was pretty shitty in the 90s and we were damn good.
As I said in another thread, I don't care if the league turns in to the Sun Belt if UT can win on a national level. In fact, that would be ideal.

Another UT thought that and it didn't work out. Turns out when your competition is shite no one cares about you even if you are amazing. I mean, look at Boise St the last five years.
College football is about matchups, not individual teams.
