What should no longer be allowed here are the people who junk up every baseball thread with petty jealousy and protests that baseball doesn't matter anyway - while they post in a baseball thread proving that it does, in fact, matter

Amen. I think the same should hold for all the secondary/minor sports. Remember this when you see a track/gymnastics/hockey/softball/golf/etc thread overrun with LSU trolls.

More sports than baseball get shite on here.

I know, that's why I just can't get super hyped for college baseball like I can and football and basketball.

NFL scout teams would probably beat Bama, FSU, LSU by 30+.

D-league teams... maybe not so much, but they'd probably win 7 or 8 out of 10 against each top 5 cbb team each year.

Yea the main point of this thread should be if you don't like baseball, basketball, or whatever sport and you see a thread about it why the frick would you feel a need to go in said thread and tell the people in there that you don't care? Different strokes for different folks.

That is pretty much what I am trying to say. Why do those who actually like college baseball have to run it by the Alabama fans who only care about football? Just stay out of it.

Hey, I agree with you 100%. Apply it to any sport other than football, for that matter.

If it is a season for that sport and someone wants to talk about it, they shouldn't have to climb over all of the trolls saying how the sport is stupid or how they don't care. It is ludicrous.

I don't either

I said this in a different thread the other day, but i don't see why watching a crappy MLB pitcher is any different than watching a crappy college pitcher. Obviously the MLB pitcher is better, but they're going against the same level of competition as themselves. doesnt make any difference to me

Exactly.
Tennis, golf, equestrian, soccer, football, diving, baseball--if the Ags are competing, I support it.
No need for a bunch of crap comments from the malcontents who don't happen to share an interest.
Ignore the thread & move along.

Agreed. Hell, some of the most exciting sporting events I have been to were between high school teams.

You're wasting your breath. What do you think fans of schools with shitty baseball programs are suppose to say?

I like all sports. The only people on here that are saying baseball doesn't matter are the ones with shitty teams. If Missouri was worth a frick would it matter then????

I have no interest in college baseball and rarely discuss it on here. When I do discuss and call out baseball lovers is when baseball lovers try to use baseball success as an argument that it compensates for football or basketball failures. When people put baseball on a pedestal with football or basketball when debating athletic department success, I call them out. Sorry.

And to clarify, nothing wrong with baseball fans talking baseball. Just don't mention football or basketball while talking baseball if you don't want us chiming in.
