I'm sure Florida could have, Foley just had no interest in playing this game, and Sankey apparently isn't as competent as Mike Slive was.

Foley and McIlwain were scared shitless to play the game without any of the starting defensive linemen. By forcing it to be postponed or cancelled, they positioned themselves better to get into the SECG. Even if it is played, they'll get some players back.

Can you explain to me why you haven't beaten LSU since you joined the sec?
