But we all know Julio and friends hung out at a clothing store because of the brilliant conversation. Hung out in bunches and even had their girlfriends and families hanging out there too. Must have been the excellent bean dip or something.
And I assume you've seen proof of this compensation? The store is in the middle of a mall. All of the guys that are in the pictures will gladly take a picture or sign something for anyone willing to ask.

You still haven't linked where dad admitting "shopping" his son, i.e., asking for money from MORE THAN ONE school.

You people have used the term shopping so much that you actually believe it happened. The NCAA didn't believe it happened, or he would have never finished the season at AU.

What is shaddy? If it's shady you mean, Dareus absolutely did something shady by partying with agents and bammer's players did something shady by letting Tom use them for advertising purposes.

You don't have an ounce of perspective. You can sit there with a straight face and accuse Alabama of "getting away" with things? All the while smoke continues to billow every offseason around the AU program. Glass houses...

If you are a current player, it is wrong to have your signed jersey displayed in the window of a clothing store. Advertising violation. And those boxes and boxes of jerseys with price tags being signed in the store were for charity, I'm sure. Albetar was (cough) disassociated (with a fake letter) for this, so I assumed something wrong was done. Enough for the compliance dept to stop his shenanigans.

You have all of this figured out, right? You are just as bad as the ATPB'ers.

Only if you are compensated.

Incidentally, I never said that auburn was guilty of anything. And I never denied that Alabama was guilty of anything. I simply tried to summarize your profoundly inane logic.

And there's nothing in the definition of "shopping" that requires you to ask more than once. Daddy Newton admitted that he tried to get money from MSU for his son's services. That is shopping him, completely irrespective of anything auburn did or didn't do. And for most of us outside of Opelika, that was enough fire to make us suspicious of anything and everything that Cam did, all the way down to his Heisman suit.

All that being said, we do agree on the overall point - the NCAA is arbitrary, unjust, and hypocritical.

The only smoke billowing is from the desperate prayer fires from bammer fans and Danny Sheridan.

I am not even accusing Auburn of anything. But if someone can sit there and sling shite about Darues, Ingram, or the Menswear stuff, and not see issues with their own house...well more power to them. Glass houses, I tell you...glass houses...

Probably the worst insult on this planet.

There was not a picture, not a tape, not an ounce of proof that Cam Newton broke any rule. Really not anything except the ravings of sleazy journalists and ATPB's complete obsession and lies - all of which were discounted one by one until there was nothing left.

My whole problem is that we were investigated over a rumor and bammer was not even glanced at for a whole lot of suspicous behavior and not just the TTMW.

Again, if the NCAA ever deigns to investigate bammer, you'll be hoping they use the same criteria for judging that they did on AU and not take the words of internet message boards and lying sportswriters.

Right. Bought. I guess all players are pimped out in a different suit, tie, shirt, shoes, sunglasses for EVERY game, right? Where would Julio find the money to buy that many suits? Maybe his mother had one of those nice house-sitting jobs. Or maybe Julio had a little deal going with his signature on just one or two jerseys and maybe a football or 2 to "earn" those suits. Quite a cozy little deal until old Tom got careless. And no one believes those pictures were photoshopped. AT ALL. You believe nothing went on at T-Town Menswear because it was your program. AU fans believe nothing went on with Cam Newton. Only difference we had to be checked out to make sure nothing happened. Bammer was allowed to say "All is well" and nothing was investigated.

gotcha, black people cant afford clothes. reading you loud and clear, Dismukes.
