I have never heard a white QB refer to himself as a White QB, but yet Cam needs to remind everyone that he is an African-American QB. Their have been some pretty damn good African-American QB's in this league. No maybe none that could do what he can and I can only think of one maybe on the tip of my tongue would be Cunningham. News flash Cam, no one has really been scared of you up until maybe this year because you have been way to inconstant. This is the side of him that I just can't get past and never will!!

Like I said earlier, I'm old. I don't like "look at me" celebrations no matter who's doing them, but I also fully understand that you can't define a person because they do one thing (that's not illegal, immoral, or otherwise clearly wrong) that you don't like.

God certainly blessed Cam with athletic ability and it is impressive. It is also impressive that he has come this far without the blessings of intelligence, class, honesty, and humility.
Someone will bring him down a peg or two one day. Those who act the way he does do not earn respect, only disgust and his show of doing something for kids doesn't make up for the rest of his bad behavior.

... All had or are having pretty solid NFL careers. I'm sure there are more. African-American QB's are no longer a novelty in this league. They no longer have a stigma to break. All that ground was broken a long time ago. Black QB's don't scare anyone.
Cam is more than a great athlete. He's a great QB. But he's a long way from being groundbreaking when it comes to race. My only issue with him is that he even saw the need to bring race into the discussion. His race is irrelevant and he chose to make an issue of it, not someone else.
