Cam couldn't hold Timmy's jockstrap.

Tim is the better runner, passer, athlete, etc

Why do you think Cam ran away? Cause he knew he was inferior and was scared of competition. Cam left UF as the 3rd string qb

Don't tell the boogs that. They think Cam can play every position simultaneously, on both sides of the ball.

Well if nothing else Timmy could bench over 400lbs so I am pretty sure he could go Brock Lesnar on Cam in a bar fight...

He can bench over 550 lbs and would toss Cammy boy by his misshapen/deformed ears

i think cam is a better runner and tim was a better passer.

cam has some bad tendencies throwing the football. he throws it so easily that he can make throws without stepping into it. i've noticed lately he'll make throws when he has room to step into it but he doesn't, like the INT against UK.

Better mechanics in throwing, AND a better runner.I fear him on Saturday. Gotta brush up on the stop-one-guy plan.

You have lost your mind. Did you see the stats in completions of over 20 yards? The guy is JJ material beyond a bubble screen. And how can this man call him self a leader when he has a rap of being a raving kleptomaniac

Sure Cam's good, but the Aubs have blown him up to almost Herculean proportions. God forbid he go out on the field and lay a turd at any point. There will have to be a suicide watch for all of Lee County.

For even suggesting that Newton is in the same league as Tebow at this point should immediately trigger tests for many known brain disorders.

And how's that 2nd string QB working out for you now? Honestly, wouldn't you want Newton back now?

FWIW, the "talking heads" are hyping him more than us Aubbies.

Tebow was one of tbe 5 greatest players to ever play in the SEC. Cam
Isn't anywhere close to that, yet. If he wins the Heisman then we will talk.

Cam is better than Tim. Non bias opinion. Yeah, Tebow had all the stats and the winning. Can't cancel out Cam b/c he's only in his 1st year to start. He does everything Tim did, except he does everything better.

The thing that made Florida click was Percy Harvin. Once he left, Tim was all alone and it showed. Cam is all alone and he still lights it up.

All ive heard about his game is LSU vs Cam Newton.

And for alot of LSU games, A lot of LSU fans ( including myself) tend to start off the game by saying " Peterson will shut down alot of the passing game"....and so on.

So really the only true way to decide this game.
Give Cam the ball Around his own 20. Have Peterson stand around the 40. Then Tell Newton to get by Peterson and score. Every time he gets by him, then he gets a TD, Everytime PP7 stops him, TD for LSU. Repeat with only these two on the field. May the best "team" win.

Good idea - but the only difference is that we only start by saying PP but to be honest we do mention our entire D. Auburn fans never say how are you going to stop our Offense - it is always only Cam

PP needn't deal with Cam - but if he (and Mo and Trex on the other side) shuts down the passing - we can load the box and no one is getting past them - even if it were a combo of Tebow/Mcnabb and D-mac.

Tebow was the most successful QB in college football history. Through 7 games of his college career Newton is inarguably better though. They are about equal as passers, Tebow may have a slight edge. However, running the ball it's not even close. Tebow a better athlete than Cam? Are you retarded? Basically, if Tim Tebow were Auburn's quarterback right now we would not be undefeated.

Talent in throwing and running, yes.

Leadership, not even close. Look at Florida now that Tebow is gone, they are in shambles and a lot of that is that Tebow kept that team together and brought a lot more than his abilities to the field.

it is an interesting debate, especially with how tebow wasn't as good without harvin

cam doesn't have a player like harvin on his team
