For even suggesting that Newton is in the same league as Tebow at this point should immediately trigger tests for many known brain disorders.

Ob-Comp actually.

We were able to slow Tebow down quite a bit last year, but we had absolutely no answer for Cam this year. Cam's performance on Sat. reminded me more of when Vince Young took Texas on his back and single-handedly beat down USC in the 4th quarter of the NCG.

Leadership, not even close. Look at Florida now that Tebow is gone, they are in shambles and a lot of that is that Tebow kept that team together and brought a lot more than his abilities to the field.

I know it's all speculation but we would probably have 3-4 losses right now without Cam.

it is an interesting debate, especially with how tebow wasn't as good without harvin

cam doesn't have a player like harvin on his team

When a concussed Tebow played in 2009 - the play calling was altered to limit his runs. Harvin was not the only factor, Mullen left, Addazio sucked with his play calling. Their D was not the same as the 2008 championship and had to be reloaded.

It is simplistic to say that Harvin was the additional factor that made Tebow what he was.
