This is the one I was thinking we could get if he transferred. Everything about his recruitment said LSU until the last minute.

I don't think this will happen as much as people are thinking.
1. The last 2 recruiting classes they've got are probably there for money and benefits not for Jimbo.
2. They fired him immediately after beating an SEC team 51-10, to me that more than likely points at them just having an upgrade al...

I remember the 2001 SEC Championship. Sometimes losing players will bring in the right players who make the team better.
Obviously not something to count on, but it does happen....

At least this doesn't feel like Rick's situation. When it came time for him to decide, we all already knew.
Today it at least feels like we still have a chance at him even if it feels like it's leaning more in Texas favor....

Unfortunately, this past seasons game vs Tennessee was my first time seeing LSU in Tiger Stadium.
I was in awe seeing all this stuff I'd only seen on TV since the 90s. Then the game started and it went downhill pretty fast....

Chase had already proved what he was. He earned the right to opt out, especially with the season he opted out was the covid year where everything was all over the place and so many question marks.
Boutte is different, he's a player that had a ton of potential that just hasn't lived up to it ye...
