The Nerd thing works for UGA vs. Tech because, well, they are nerds. And we own them.
The Nerd thing doesn't work well with AU vs. UGA because, well, we own you too. Being smarter and more athletic kills the whole nerd vibe.

Then Cam smiles, dances, have fun, don't talk to media after losing the biggest game of his career because of over hearing a Broncos player talk smack....people said he shouldn't act that way because he's a QB, they don't want the leader of their team acting that way. And Cam is just entertaining us, not trying to do a job that'll impact our lives.

I think the big misconception about the QB position is one has to be extremely smart to play the position. FTR Terry Bradshaw was a fricking idiot and won 4. The thing with QBs is not their intelligence, but their ability to see and react. Cam has always had the athletic ability to play, but where he has excelled beyond most people's predictions is processing what he sees and making the correct throw. Again IQ has nothing to do with this.
