Wonderlic, IQ, etc. all pretty irrelevant. The only test that really matters in this case is the one that was given on Sunday.
Result: CN = fail. Both as a competitor and a person. Most Valuable Douche goes to Cam.

The Wonderlic is an outdated and borderline useless test. But carry on. MOAR CAM THREADS.

Newton scored a nearly autistic 21.

21 is nowhere near the lowest score ever on a Wonderlic...I've heard of scores in the teens before...and one 'bout 10 years back, there were rumors of a QB getting a 9...

All I got from this thread is that the Wonderlic is worthless when it comes to football players.

I wouldn't say it is worthless. However it is like every other test. I've seen people pass with flying colors on their driving exam and be horrible drivers. I've seen people struggle and they were excellent drivers. Right now it is Cam's turn to be picked on. And, in turn people know the Auburn fans will melt down over it. And they were right. I never saw so many people from one fan base switch all their loyalties and avatars to reflect a pro team to support a guy that played one year for their team. It's as if you guys recruited, developed and made him what he is. You think his success is Auburn's success. It isn't. No more than Stafford's NFL success is Georgia's success. I really don't get college fans that think this way. It's like we think the layers never learn or develop past the college game.

Actually it's Auburn fans melting over this past Sunday. Where are all the Carolina team logos you guys were sporting last week?

Depends on the name, some people get 9 points. Looking at you Sebastian Janikowski.

Not irrelevant, but a tool to be used with reservations.

The knock on Peyton Manning was he was terrible in the playoffs. And Marino never won a Super Bowl. (Can't remember if he ever made it to one) At the end of his career people will decide about Cam newton's suitability to be in the company of the greats. Manning struggled until late in his career.

Hopefully Newton will learn from his childish behavior Sunday and it will make him a better QB and person.

These surprised me. All 3 seem like they'd have above average intelligence when it comes to standardized tests.

Those things are so hard to predict.

its actually the number of questions they got correct in 12 out of 50.

20 is average, they say less than 10 is an indication of illiteracy. So they must think on average you can guess correct on at least 10, without actually reading the question

Cam is a good, young man who is still finding his way in the world.

I think he has been good for the game this year. One performance is not the litmus test for his ability or his long-term success. The Broncos got pasted two years ago; scored 8 points, was it? Who was the QB? Probably the greatest of all time, certainly one of the greatest. But its a team sport and Cam got beat by a D that was better than his O-line and receivers. I don't buy he is a coward for one play--have seen him run over players all year carrying the ball, when he should have been sliding every time.

Give the guy a break; only two QB's were in the SB; one had to lose. The other 20+ were watching at home.

LSU graduate in case anyone wants to hang the homer tag on me.
