Actually, I'm of the opinion that last year we had the weakest (not bad, just weak) group of wide receivers we've had since the 90's. No real #1 target, and the number of overthrows Mett had were disturbing for a guy who stands 6'5". Later in the season, they really came on pretty strong, and I hope they can build on that.

I don't expect to see us throw it much more, we will still be a running team. I just hope to see a more effective vertical passing game.

name the current coaches in the SEC that fills that description.

of course you will throw this disclaimer, it proves your homer point.

I haven't bashed CC, but some of yall using these examples are very blinded by the P&G. you don't know how it will go down, because you have nothing to base it off of. many of the predictions of grandeur are nothing but hopes and dreams at this point.

Oh ok then

So let me get this straight, by me saying we should be improved somehow translates into singing high praises of CC and homerism

Every time we play you guys, your receivers scare the daylights out of me. Seems like you are always one throw away from breaking a long one. I'm sure you realize, by now, I am not a Mettenberger fan, but if he gets just a little more consistent.....it could get ugly. When he is hot, he is REAL hot. And, as has been pointed out several times, you guys always recruit well. The talent is there...it's just a matter of getting it all to fall into place. This COULD be the year for you. Or us. Or S. Carolina, or Florida...or...or...it's a great time to be a SEC fan!

Cam Cameron was the missing part that has kept LSU a step behind Saban's Bama for the past couple of years.

Bama and Georgia still benefit from the SEC's permanent cupcake rule, so Florida and LSU will remain a competitive quarter-step behind their main rivals for division titles.

I am assuming he said that after the buttfumble?

Never cared for Sanchez...mainly because he is from the other most consistently overrated team....USC. (Notre Dame being #1 most overrated)

USC and Notre Dame always have the BEST players history has ever seen (according to the media) I hate them both...then you can throw the University of Miami in for good measure.

Hopefully some of our wideouts can really stand up, but as of now, we don't have a Randle or a LaFell or a Byrd on the team.

What we have is a QB that's definitely capable of making up for it, but he's got to be consistent.
