LSU has a pretty solid group of Athletes. If you could claim players like Marshall Faulk who didn't go to LSU, you would probably win in a landslide

I'm thinking it may be a few more years before Auburn has anyone who could even contend for basketball MVP

just to be clear, bo wasn't in the same universe as frank Thomas as a baseball player, like not even close.

LOL - what? I mean, great college players, but Landry and Webster on an all-time GOAT list?

If you read the first sentence of my post....
tGOAT for LSU., not everyone.

The only "All-time, anywhere" tGOAT-type caliber athletes from LSU IMO would be possibly:

FB: Cannon, Tittle, VanBuren, Stovall, Mawae, and maybe Mathieu and Fournette.

BB: Shaq, Pistol, Pettit,

If we're talking natives of a state, Louisiana would be way up there, no doubt.

Ask Johnny Musso who LSU's best DB was.

There's a reason no one wears #37 for LSU any more.

Well, we do have the NFL's all-time leading rusher, so there's that.

But Auburn is strong, I mean once players get out of the plains and start playing for good teams they can achieve a lot, its a shame outside of Cam they don't do much in college and that Cam basically only came to Auburn to dodge expulsion at his first choice but hey.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. You don't care.

Here's a cool video about the '67 NFL Championship, for anyone who likes watch stuff about old games.

LSU Best ever:

Based on College
Cannon
Pistol
Todd Walker

Based on Pro Career
Jim Taylor
Shaquille
Albert Belle

Strong, but Auburn is tops.
