What's funny is that you fail to mention that by year 3 in every program that he's been apart of, his teams have all averaged atleast 10 wins a season. As well as conference championships. Shared or outright.
Year 3 of CMU:
11-2
Years 2 and 3 of Cincy: (Up from 4-8 the year prior)
10-3
Butch Jones year 3 of UT:
17-0 and World Champions.
All that being said -- I've said it before and I'll say it again, How State fans could ever feel like little brother to you never have beens in the shite hole that is Northern Mississippi is beyond me. It's like a turd feeling inferior of another turd because it's got ever so slightly more beef and corn to it.

Year 3 in a scrub conference doesn't equate to year 3 in the SEC. Considering you, along with Vandy and UK, are the doormats of the East (and have been for quite some time), it's all about baby steps. Another Tax Slayer appearance would be overachieving as far as year 3 is concerned

You'll have to excuse me for not taking you seriously when I see a "Ole Miss Fan" using the term "Doormat" and "SEC" in the same sentence. Surely you understand. You may have better luck trying with a Kentucky fan though.

No we got our dicks smashed and were flat out embarrassed. I will say that Butch Jones couldn't come to Ole Miss and be in a NY6 bowl in just the third year of the gig; take that for whatever it may be worth.
How slow are y'all? For the tenth time, this isn't an Ole Miss vs. Tennessee thread. However, I'd take the the Rebels current position and outlook going forward and I think the majority here would as well

Freeze averaged 10 wins at Lambuth and UofAS. but who gives a shite? Those teams don't play in the SEC.
