Im just saying, we've been beaten down as a program for a while now. We're tired of change, we want consistency. If we win 6-7 games this season, we would much rather give Butch some leeway as opposed to another entire coaching overhaul. We wouldn't be happy with 6-7, but you wouldn't see most people wanting Butch fired (of course there would be a minority). We need to temper our expectations with the state of the program, you'll see most rational people including me predicting 8-9 wins, which is reasonable.

I don't think he's getting under anyone's skin. I don't care what he does. He's just a cheeseball. We'll see if his style works at UT. It's put up or shut up time for UT.

Apparently he is, I've seen multiple threads started by rival fans about our spring game. Our fricking spring game. I mean, who cares.

He is a prime candidate for demise from cardiac arrest. If you watch him on sidelines when UT was losing...his head was ready to explode and his asst coaches met his wrath....not good.

Has any coach in recent memory got their fan base so fired up without winning shite? Oh, yeah, Bert. Well this year will tell about both,

I think Bert could take him in a rasslin match - probably even make Butch cry

Other SEC programs are REALLY starting to let Butch get under their skin.

He's corny and comes to practice with a different saying everyday as he studies everything from random motivators, to college motivators, to Navy Seals but somehow it works. The players would run through a brick wall for him and they 'get it.' I hate to say it's easy for the lowest common denominator on the team to get such things but it does.

That said, ALL coaches do this to some degree, I just wish CBJ would be more careful with limiting it with the press but he really is still coping with he fish bow and prolly but I wont hold my breath.

I just accept him for who he is - cheesy as frick.

Just win baby. Butch can be the biggest cheeseball on earth as long as he keeps bringing in top recruiting classes and it translates to the field starting in 2015. GBO

No doubt.

Oh and to give the board a heads up, even tho' I'm more of a hired gun right now given my sabbatical. with not enough classes to matter and doing a little fill in work for profs and lecturer who need me too. Sabbatical writing is boring as shite, FWIW - that or I'm a procrastinate extraordinaire right I'm supposed to be basically disappeared write now, ya know to write and all(ok I'm a procrastinator but I do love teaching college kids).

I should probably inform you that I've engaged in my yearly college is out ritual and am starting to get drunk as shite. So when the typos come ignore them. I usually so ok keeping my brain somewhat together but not my spelling or grammar.

And oh yes I know I'm already doing the word substitution thin but that's normal for me online.

You're right, but he's really only done one of those things thus far.

Did you really expect him to win anythign of significance playing freshman in 100 more combined games then the second closest team last year and starting freshman in a combined double the amount of games as the next team?

What did people need to see last year to think he's got a chance to be good? 10-2??? We were predicted to go 4-8 or 5-7 in many preseason rankings.
