That's just a myth promulgated by the rest of the country to say Screw you SEC for winning 7 BCS titles in a row, and almost 8. And if you thought that was bad, just wait'll you see the screw job they foist on us with that 13-member committee to pick the 4-team football playoff.

I agree that we aren't garbage. I don't think anybody is trying to claim we're the best, but if you don't think 2-3 other teams in the conference could have played respectable ball in the NCAAT, then you're just a hater. The Big 12 and A10 love this year was absolutely laughable.

I wouldn't say they are garbage. Nobody is claiming they are the best but there were a lot of good teams that got snubbed because the media and talking heads loved certain conferences and talked them up all year.

Was the 10th place SEC team, Bama an easy win for UF ? Bama was tied with UCLA on the road with 1:19 to go and tied with Wichita St with 2 minutes left.
Are they world beaters from 4-7 ? no, but they are just as good as the Big10 teams that got in and lost, or the 6 A-10 teams that went 2-4 in the opening round ( thanks to St. Louis miracle comeback, else they would've went 1-5) ACC and BIG12 was wonderful also.
The facts are the SEC deserved more bids than the A-10 and as many as the other big conferences whose 3-6 place teams are average also.
Remember, Lunardi is from Philly,his prognostications become self fulfilling prophecies, the committees say, well, lets just follow Joe, that's what everyone expects, hence 6 SORRY A-10 schools.

The SEC was garbage this year.
The conference had one really good team, and one good team. That good team has played amazing the past three weeks and is now really good too.
The rest of the league was meh, at best.

SEC was split like this, this season
Tier 1 UF
Tier 2 UK
Tier 3 Tenner, UGA, Arky, Mizzou (All should have been tourney teams)
Tier 4 LSU
The rest were flat out horrible, though Carolina ended the season strong by beating UK and Arkansas.

Tier 2 UK
